Myrto Levidi
Clinical Psychologist (MSc, Greece & Australia)

Myrto Levidi is a licensed Clinical Psychologist, registered in both Greece and Australia, with over 10 years of academic and clinical experience across private, public, and research settings.

Holding a Master of Psychology (Clinical Psychology) from the Cairnmillar Institute in Melbourne, and two Bachelor degrees — one in Psychology & Counselling from Teesside University (UK) and one in Social Science (Psychology) with First Class Honours from Charles Sturt University (AU) — her training combines scientific rigor with a strong client-centered orientation.

Clinical experience includes placements and therapeutic work in psychiatric wards, schools, private clinics, and digital mental health platforms. Areas of specialization include anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, grief, eating disorders, personality disorders, and emotional dysregulation, across all age groups.

In parallel with private practice in Glyfada, Myrto continues to work remotely with Australian mental health services and serves as a research associate with academic institutions in Melbourne. She has authored four peer-reviewed scientific publications, focusing on criminal behavior, emotional distress, and cognitive-emotional processes such as anger, rumination, and forgiveness.

Her clinical approach is integrative and evidence-based, drawing from methods such as:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

  • Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

  • Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)

  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

  • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), trained via TACT Hellas

  • Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Myrto is also certified in Dynamic Neurofeedback using NeurOptimal® and offers brain training sessions for cognitive, emotional, and performance optimization. In addition, she is trained in Ketogenic Metabolic Therapy for psychiatric and neurological conditions, integrating nutrition science with clinical psychology when appropriate.

Beyond individual therapy, she facilitates mindfulness skills training, personal development groups, and parenting workshops grounded in the attachment parenting model.

*Sessions are available in both English and Greek.
**Professional collaboration and client referrals are welcome.
